As is usually the case with my ‘I Love Music’ posts, it all started when I found myself falling down a YouTube hole…I watched video after video of Kelis when I felt nostalgic for music of the late 90s/ early 2000s.
When I listened to ‘Caught out there‘ and ‘Good Stuff‘, I marvelled about the fact that Kelis’ musical sound still sounds fresh and unique to me after so many years.
There is a boldness in her brand of creativity that I admire. There really is no Artiste like Kelis.
