Pros and cons of not having a Publisher.

 

Today’s video on my Instagram page is about what the pros and cons of not having a Publisher have been for me.

A certain Publisher that I once considered had terms I didn’t agree with: They would own the rights to my work, and I would be paid only 8% of profit AFTER tax. I might as well write a book and set it on fire.

Also, some Publishers I’ve made contact with have turned out to actually be Printers; there really is a difference between the two.

I’m still hopeful that I’ll meet a Publisher who will offer me terms that are mutually beneficial. Untill then, I’ll continue to self-publish.
