3 Lessons I’ve Learned From classicallyivy.com

Hey, Everyone 🙋🏾‍♀️

I’ve been doing some thinking (as usual!) about how in July 2015, classicallyivy.com did not exist. It has now become part of my daily life, and serves as a means of exploring my creativity.

And also, quite simply, my blog makes me happy 😊

Here are 3 things I’ve learned from classicallyivy.com:

_____________________

1. Focus your energy wisely: When I started my blog, I went out of my way to tell everyone I knew about it and was worried when I didn’t get the level of support that I had hoped for. Now, I’m very happy to share what I write with the people who are interested.

This writing experience is meant to be a happy one, after all.

2. Celebrate milestones that are important to you: I have learned to be happy about something as nice as a like on a blog post, or about something as wonderful (and stressful!) as self-publishing my third book. To some, these might not be significant, but they are very important to me.

3. Learn to evolve: Anyone who has followed classicallyivy from the onset will know that its appearance has changed over the years to its current theme. I also take time to study things to do with writing and using social media optimally, while still being my authentic self as a writer.

These lessons have also relevant in other aspects of my life.

I hope you have a great weekend!
