It Wouldn’t Be A Disaster.

When you are lost

In the forest,

Wandering around in the darkness,

Not seeing your next footstep.

When your hand is empty,

Away from their grip,

A grip which seemed comforting at first,

But which you now realize was limp.

When your tears flow freely,

Like a faulty tap.

With the fog in your head,

Making the future seem unclear.

When you would rather

Dig a hole by the side of the road,

Instead of dragging your feet

To continue the journey.

It wouldn’t be a disaster,

To stop for a moment,

To breathe deeply,

To remain calm.

It wouldn’t be a disaster,

Because the experiences

Will renew you,

And you will know your true self.
